Here Come The Robots!
- The ‘robot marching’ sounds at the start of the song were made by hitting pans against a wall, shaking cutlery inside a box, kicking bins and bashing a radiator with a spoon. The most prominent sound is that of Lloyd standing next to the microphone opening and closing a pair of scissors. Once you have spotted this, you will never hear anything else from that section.
- The repeated part of the verse starting “A shiny robot’s alive, disc drive entitled Number Five” is referring to Johnny 5 who was a robot in the Short Circuit films.
- The binary in this song has no meaning at all (there needs to be 8 figures in a binary sequence).
- We are still unsure as to whether this song has a chorus or not.
